The unit reacts exclusively to Tracer gas, so that cross sensitivity to other gases can be almost completely excluded.
The extra-long and highly flexible measuring probe also allows checking components in the engine compartment which are difficult to access.

A/C System needs to be free of refrigerant before pressurization with tracer gas.
Tank Valve - Off.
Pressure adjusting screw - screwed out. Connect hi and low side couplers and open. Tank Valve - On.
Turn pressure adjusting screw inward to reach
100-150 PSI.
The 160PSI gauge can be removed and maximum
pressure of 225PSI can be applied if leak not detected on initial check.
Tank Valve - off, pressure adjusting screw - screwed out.
Testing Tips
► Hydrogen is lighter than air - check for leaks above connections.
► Evaporator leak check - after 10 minutes - check at defroster vents, dash outlets and floor vents.
► Remove couplers and check valve cores and
service ports.
► Remove shop fans and any wind that can disapate
the hydrogen.
